Talking Bleeding Brakes

yeh yeh yeh i used the search button and didnt see anything on HOW to bleed.

can anyone give me a quick run thru on how????

jack up car, take tire off, have someone in the car pump the brakes, then hold them with about 30lbs of pressure this is when you open and close the bleeder nipple, repeat if air comes out

repeat on 3 other corners

didnt think it was tech enough to put over here but hey thanks for the move.

fairly easy did it in about 30 mins time.

Anyone know of the proper order to bleed the brakes? I think it is RR,FL,RL,FR but not sure and I am going to be doing them this afternoon. BTW, it's a 97 camry LE. Please help?

start with the corner farthest from the mc reservoir and end at the the corner closest to the mc reservoir.

well if you've got diagonal type brakes, then do a rear and then the opposite front

and if you've got 4 seperate lines, then it dosen't really matter now does it

well unless your 97camry le was built and sold in the 60's, chances are you have a split system. be it front/rear or diagonal.
if you are still unsure of the proper bleeding sequence, consult your service manual or ask the camry guys(camry forum).
