Transmission swap question

Does anybody know if an e153 V6 5speed will fit to the same mounting brackets and locations on a car that came with a 5SFE?
Not asking if it will bolt to engine nor the end mount by the wheel. My reason for this question is trying to install an MR2 tranny to a fwd car and using the cross bar underneath from a celica. The hole is about 1" off. I realise this is no big deal and can just drill the hole. But if a factory bracket can fit and fix the problem I'd like that option.

use a bracket from a 92-93 v6 std camry or 97-01 camry v6 std. its called the tranny mount... it might mount up to the same holes as in a celica. BUT using the rwd tranny in the fwd car, that means the linkage is on the front side, so you either have to find longer shifter cables or move the linkage or just get the camry/solara e153 tranny.

but if it is just a matter of drilling a hole, i'd say do that...

The linkage issue has already been covered, I bought a lexus tranny to source the conversion parts from. The tranny repair guy I know says I can swap 5th gear from the Lexus tranny to the MR2's and according to posts on this board the Lexus has a different ratio in 5th. Of course I'll count the gears when doing this to confirm as a benefit or not.

Nice pic. I've been trying to find one like that of a 93 Celica GT with 5SFE and 5speed. That'd be more how my mounting system looks.
