Mine doesn't.
Maybe the one on the 3s-ge with the dual vvt-i does, even then it wouldn't make sense to me.

But I think what they call "dual VVTi" in Japan is just identical to what we call VVTLi over here.

Anyway I wish there are more explaination to all these stuff...

yes yes yes...I borrowed a Highlander from DVNT, it has the 3.0L V6 with VVT-i. It has a 2 tubes into 1 throttle body.

I also noticed it has a close coupled cat...hehehehe...this one would be easy to twin turbo; 1 turbo for each bank of cylinders, each feeding into their own throttle body!

Yeah!
Make sure is DOHC VTEC, not SOHC VTEC!
Shaun, when will you put the VTEC engine in your EF9?

Actually no.
VVTL-i
stand for variable valve timing lift with intelligence. The lift part is basically the second cam profile which is activated by oil pressure, kinda like VTEC.
On the other hand VVT-i is variable valve timing. My car has VVT-i but only on the intake cam, now the altezza with the Beams 3s-ge with the dual VVT-i has VVT-i on both the intake cam and the exhaust cam
I hope I cleared that up.
I still only see onw throtle body on that jeep.

Thats very hard to beleive, u need at least some sort of a cam to get you to those times, cause a guy i knew in a crx with a cam, cold air intake, full blown exhaust, headers and a 12 degree valve job and some other internal work did 15.2 and he was stripped down as well.
I have no problems with EF's with the sohc setup, I usually pull very hard of the launch and as the speed gets higher and higher it keeps on getting worse and worse.
My g/f has a 2000 si coupe, just wait till august
