what to use in cleaninig engine parts.

i have my car taken appart at the moment and not sure what to use to clean the individual parts to get the best shine and that steamed on coolant stain off.

I've used meguiars extra all surface cleaner to clean my engine bay before...worked pretty well imo since its safe for all the materials in the engine bay.

have u guys ever polished ur exhaust pipe often? my is stainless steel exhaust looked a bit rusty. I polished its tip shine back again, should i shy the whole pipe?
