Toyota 3VZFE Vs. Mazda KLZE

From what ive seen both these motors are quite potent and deadly on the track. But i was wondering if we bought it right down to numbers which of these motors is superior. What has more beefy internals, Which is engineered better, Which can handle boost without too much work. And whats the most power the stock motor handle.

Heres the basics

3VZFE (1994+)
3.0 L (149 kW) at 5800 rpm
204 ft·lbf (277 N·m) at 4600 rpm

VS.

KLZE (J Spec)
2.5 L (148 kW) at 6500 rpm
165 ft·lbf (212 N·m) at 5500 rpm

I know this is a toyota forum but im sure most of you know about the Klze.

Older post, but I have to defend my 3vz-fe. Want some insight? Check this out.

Major points:
-The torque curve is FLAT with 100% torque sub-2800rpm.
-Easy OBDI tuning.
-Toyota DIAG2 anal troubleshooting.
-Handles boost up to 350whp on STOCK internals.
-Swap the pistons to forged, good to 450whp.
