3sgte MR --> FR
Are there any FR tranny's that would fit a 3s block? If not, does anyone know any alternatives in fitting one on?

you can do a tranny swap from a JDM Celica GT-Four and cut the front drive shafts, since that model came with a 3SGTE.

woah... thanks a lot for your responses. I'm going to do a little research into all of that. I was thinking of using a celica GT4 but i thought that the motor was mounted horizontally like a FF. or is that only the alltrac... Hmm

gt4 = alltrac...
gt4 is just the JDM way to say it...
as for the solara tranny, you sure it'd work in an FR config, silverstreakin..?

No guarantees here... but you can also look into using an A-series block RWD tranny with a custom bellhousing.

You can bolt the MR2 (3sgte) tranny up to your Celica (3sgte) motor..... you do need a few custom parts though.
