Driveshaft based Dyno. Need some help!

Hi all.

I have just developed a new drive-shaft torque sensor/dynamometer. I am looking to adapt it to Toyota/TRD vehicles. Currently, it is up and running on a Chevy 2500HD ( yeah yeah... I know ). Toyota seems to be more into performane trucks than GM, of late.

It currently works with the Innovate Motorsports LogWorks software. And the LC-1 and the rest of their MTS devices. It is a real strain-gage based torsional force sensor, mounted to the slip-yoke. No accelerometers, timers, GPS, etc.

It is similar to the Land-and-Sea "On-board Dynamometer" see: http://www.land-and-sea.com/rotary-s...shaft-dyno.htm

Here it is, installed in my 2002 2500HD 4x4 ( yeah yeah...I know )

So far, testing has gone better than expected. Even with the big 32-spline 1410 yoke on my HD, I can easily resolve less than +/- 1lb-ft of torque ( out of a full scale of +/- 4500 lb-ft ) and +/- 1hp. Although, the weather has put a temporary hold on further testing.

What I am looking for is the info that I need to make installation kits for the variousToyota RWD applications. Specifically, the slip-yoke dimensions and the tail-shaft housing dimensions that I need to mount the field coil.

I am trying to get this out to the public for less than $1500.00 ( vs. the $5000-$7000 that Land and Sea wants ).

Any help, dimensions-wise, is appreciated

Thanks, all
