Lightbulb Supra Calipers on an mr2???

I was wondering if anyone knew if Supra brake calipers would fit on an SW20 mr2, and if so what work would have to be done to do so......cause i know that for most Nissan applications you can swap the larger 300zx calipers and they will work, and I didnt know if that would be the case here as well. Thanks

A caliper is a caliper right?
I think putting Supra calipers on an MR2 would probably work if you could find a pattern to follow on mounting. Some welding and machining would most likely be needed and should probably be done professionaly so the welds don't brake under hard brake application.
The other thing to worry about would be the swept area of the rotor. What is the good of having Supra brakes if only 30% of the pad is touching the rotor. Or, you also wouldn't want more braking pressure on one pad than the other; this might happen if the caliper is mounted cocked over to one side.
and, are the calipers going to clear the rims?
