q's about swapping maf for 3vzfe

i was looking at my bro's 7mge and his maf looks very similar to my 3vz's. i was wondering if they are in fact the same and if they are interchangeable (he needs a new one btw, his is crapping out).

he also told me that a few cressida tuners he talks to have mentioned that the ls400 has a maf that is swappable into his 7mge. i assume these would flow much better since they come off a v8. is this possible?

if the answer to both the previous questions is yes, would that mean the ls400 maf would be a direct fit into the 3vz?

ok the 7m and 3vz mafs are different (dif part #), they just look exactly the same. but, im pretty sure the ls400 maf has different part number too.

does anyone know anything about this?
