so i was washing the car, and when i was dryin it, i noticed there's a HUGE crack in the paint on my passenger door.

so what i'd like to know is how do you fix the it temporarily to keep moisture / water from going in until i get it fixed by a shop (?)

Put some rust-inhibiting spray primer on top of it, available from your friendly neughbourhood Canadian Tire.
