oil leak 91 pickup

I have a 91 pickup 4wd V6 engine with a bad oil leak from the front seal area. I am guessing it is the seal and looking for advice on changing the seal. Can I get the seal out by prying with a screw driver?

Also thinking of drilling the seal and inserting a sheet metal screw to pull on or maybe I have to buy a slide hammar.

Can I install the seal using a appropriate size sccket and tapping wioth a hammar ( my usual method of seal installation)

Can the oil leak be from somewhere else (commonly)

What seal are you talking about? Cam seal? Crank mains?

Have any pics of the leaking areas? it would be easier to give you an answer then.

I think the leak is from the front crankshaft seal but not sure.
