i have a 91 mr2 NA. it has about 154k miles on it. everything is running fine. now the previous owner said the original belt was replaced at 80k miles so do i need to replace it again after another 80k miles? or do i ever need to replace it again?

Yeah Its about time, Im sure you could go 90k on it though. Back in '91 they reccomended it to be changed every 60k. Check the waterpump for leaks and cam/cranks seals for any leaks while in there. Now would also be a good time to change the waterpump as preventative maintenance. As well as the serpentine belts if they are old, they are coming off anyways.
