Installing a Catback System

Im planning on buying a 1989 toyota supra turbo. one of my mods on my list would be ordering a cat back system for a 89 toyota supra, i was wondering is that a doit yourself type mod (like have a jack and tools to bolt on things) or would u need a professional to do it?? Thanks im really wondering this.

Depends on if its a bolt-on cat-back system!

Seriously... sometimes you need to cut and weld. Many times you don't. Find out what you are buying, ask very specific questions to the vendor and you will have your answer.

If you buy brand name (Blitz, Greddy, HKS, RSR, JIC, Brullen, Tanabe, etc.) they are all bolt on. Exhausts listed as catback 99.9% of the time are bolt on. Just ask before plunking the cash down

There may be trouble with the bolts at the cat though... rust can be a bitch.
