Tachometer in a 97 'rolla

I've got a basically stock Corolla, 5-speed, low end model without a tachometer. I dont mind driving it as it is, but I'd like to be able to know where my RPM's are sitting at. Can I get an aftermarket tac? How hard would installation be, and about how much would it cost? Any suggestions would be help out a lot.

I have an aftermarket tach in my '94 Geo Prizm which has the same parts as a corolla. All the aftermarket parts for corolla's and prizm's are for 93-97, so I assume your's is almost exactly the same as mine.... You can use almost any aftermarket tach, and the installation is not difficult at all. Instructions might come with the tach, if they don't, it's more difficult. All it is is splicing the tach wires into the correct wires. If you have no clue about wiring, I would recommend a professional installation, but they will probably charge you $50-$80 depending on where you go.
