Black box locations

Anyone found the black box in a late model toyota truck?

I know it is in there but I am not sure what it looks like and what happens if you remove it?

Don't like the idea of big bro dialing up my location anytime they want or voiding my medical insurance because I wasn't wearing my seatbelt.

Any info would be appreciated.

thanks

Black box data recorder

Sorry

2004 Tundra Double Cab Limited.
Don't care if removing it takes out my air bags but what else will it do?

I think its part of the OBDII ECU thing. Don't know if you can remove it at all.

why dont you just wear your seat belt instead of endangering the lives of you and your passangers by possibly destroying the airbags and the seatbelt locking mechanizms.

and what about the resale value? what are you going to do about that? if you somehow fuck up the trucks saftey systems, are you just gonna sell the truck and not fix it? or are you gonna let some poor guy buy your truck without telling him the think might be deadly in a crash?

just wear your damn seatbelt dude.
