So, if I just change the header, and not the catback, will it help?
it will help alittle bit... But you still have a restriction on your exhaust... Theres a bunch of exhaust that doesnt have a 4" tip well, they're just a bit more pricey...
Originally posted by sonyminidiscman but why do ppl want 4 inch exhaust......... expecially on those civics
its just the tip is 4" not the whole piping... if your not cranking huge amounts of boost and power I suggest you stick to a 2.25 to 2.5 inch exhaust and just run a nice striaght thru muffler...

damm!!! what the hell you buying ??? Thats too expensive for my blood

for that price....i couldn't even pay for half my exhaust system......
If its all stainless, then it good price. If not, it should be less then $1000.
Don't put 4" tip, cops love them. Get a stock looking straight through muffler with a small tip matching the pipe size. Unless you're going torbo or SC, keep pipe size at 2.25" or 2". I lose too much lowend torque with 2.25" pipe with 4A-FE 1.6L. Get a highflow cat and resonator to keep noise down with a deep low tone.
