Nope... they are all different "family" engines so they have different mounts, transmissions, gear box, pulleys, accesories, etc.

They will fit on any engine bay given the necesary space and money.

*Beats out 1VZ-5VZ FE's in HP, but not in TQ
*Beats out 1MZ-2MZ FE's in HP, but not in TQ

1998+ DOHC 3S-GTE:

CC Disp. - 1998
HP - 260@6000RPM
TQ - 239@4400RPM

CC Disp. - 1796
HP - 180@7600RPM

That's fudged up, the new 3SGE makes more hp than my old 88 3SGTE. Less torque, but still, it's not right.
Time for a rebuild and fuel management.

What's BEAMS anyway? Some engine designer like Cosworth or something?

^What the heck does that mean? Is that a toyota acronym? Or a separate company?

Nevermind, I just googled it. It's a Toyota acronym. Thanks.
