Does any know that if I install new spark plugs and racing spark plug wires help?

If so, what brand and what model should I use? (I have a 93 Gen3 V6)

New sparkplugs might help depending on how many miles you have on your current ones.

As for the plug wires your not gonna notice any difference unless your plug wires are worn out or in need of replacement.

Aftermarket plug wires are mostly for looks (bigger in size + the color of the wires).

Your car has platinum plugs. So you can replace them with another set of platinums or try the Denso iridiums (their expensive though).

I'm not sure who makes plug wires for your car.

denso makes for almost all japanese cars im pretty sure - so no worry on finding the part.

you actually may notice better plug performance with a new ignition system rather than just better plugs...... but it comes with some cost man..

I change mine every 6 months! But the cables should last a long time, another thing that alot of people look over is the rotor, this small piece that rotates inside the distributor, and it usually collect carbon and become a bad conductor, it's really cheap (About $4-$8 average)..

The cables make a big difference, you'll feel a difference with the spark plugs too but then it kind of goes away after a while...

Depends on how you drive your car and how many kilometers you put on it..

The spark plugs affect your fuel cosumption, because it's where the spark comes from, and if your spark plugs aren't working properly obviously you won't be burning the mount of fuel you should be!?

That's the way I look at it, so I change mine every 6 months.. Sometimes the old spark plugs are ok, and soemtimes they're solid black!!
Like I said, depends on you driving..

You should be able to get to them from underneath the car.. I don't know how the setup of the engine is, but I'm sure if you can see them from underneath the car, you shouldn't have a problem in getting to them!

All you need is an extension arem, and a spark plug socket (comes with a rubber molding on the inside to hold the spark plug)..

I don't know if you have a plastic shield underneath the car cause you might have to take that out if it's blocking you!

I personally would advise you to post on the Camry/Solara zone cause you'll get experienced opinions there since I'm sure someone's been through what you're trying to do...

Good luck

Go with OEM wires....

when you check your wires...the threshold limit for max resistance is 25 k-ohms. Anything over...replace them all

It's too early in the morning.....so my memory is a little fuzzy....but I think the 3VZ-FE does indeed have a distributor cap and rotor. The 1MZ is Direction Ignition.

..Racing wires... jeez man, plug wires dont make your car any more sporty then it is stock. Even plugs wont add any horsepowers UNLESS your old plugs are already so worn out that they're missparking. Id say use OEM plugs, less hassles in life.
