Is there any noticible gains after changing the stock spark plug wires to a thicking one?

If so, Any known brand is good? or just thicker is better?

Nop. Ignition upgrade won't gain anything unless the old one is failing. Stock wire is good for most case. The thicker wire just got thicker insulation to prevent cross fire with higher voltage. Even with MSD, stock wire still provide enough insulation.

If you want better looks you can upgrade.

The results may be minimal, depending on how screwed up your sparks are etc etc

the only thing that is good things about more expensive plug wires is:

1. thicker insulation (pineapple said)- causes less cross signal amongst the wires

2. if they are silicone or carbon core. carbon core tends to crack or get weak in place as time and use progresses. Silicone has the ability of flexibility and the life span will last longer.
