Afm --> Map

ok... this may sound quite stupid, but then it may well be. Could someone point me in the right direction as to how to convert an AFM system into a MAP system... I know you need a MAP sensor (duh) but other than that i would not have a clue where to start. for example:

Vacum hoses... Where do they go? There are two i am particularly concerned about... one goes to the idle up valve fore the a/c from the intake tube, the other goes directly to the fuel rail..

Electrical... When i do get rid of the AFM... how does the MAP get wired??

Anyone got any how-to's? I have ripped apart and swapped plenty of engines before, but i must say, i have never done a MAP conversion. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Spud.

You could get a different ECU that was made to work with the signal from a MAP sensor rather than what you have.
Another way to make it all work together is to try and use an Apexi electronic fuel controller to try and convert the signal, but I would find someone who's done that first.
There's a company called SplitSecond that makes electronic boxes that do this sort of thing as well, and I've used their products. www.splitsec.com
