RAV4orce Turbo Kit Update

Ok, I already have the Turbo, manifold and intercooler. What else would I need? BOV, MAP sensor, etc. I'm planning 6 to 8 lbs for starters. Any advice would be apreciated.

Thats what they are called. Turbo timer and Electronic Boost controller. There is also lots of custom piping which needs to be done.

You might need to learn a little more before you finish this custom kit.

Talk to ppl with turbo. 88le knows his shit. He would be a good bet.

Which would you guys recommend regarding

a. Blow Off Valve
b. Wastegate
c. Fuel injectores [for a stock 3SFE]
d. Boost Control [computer or manually]
e. Fuel Pump

I've been looking through the net but thier are so many kinds and brands. Greddy, HKS, Vortec...

I'm planning to do 6 to 8 pounds of boost. OK, not much, its for a street sleeper.

a. I like Blitz and HKS. What you choose is up to you, its a personal preference thing.

b. HKS or Tial.

I don't see a spot on your manifold for a external wastegate.

What you can do is cut a hole in the manifold and weld on the mounting flange for the wastegate to it. But good luck welding to cast iron though.

c. Not sure.

Are your stock injectors high (13.8 ohms) or low impedance (1.7 ohms)?

If your not sure about the impedance look at the injectors. Their color coded (blue, green, gray, etc..)

d. Either will work. Blitz, HKS, and Greddy make EBCs.

e. Walbro (255 lph (liters per hour)).

Did you paint or ceramic coat the turbine housing on your turbo? For your sake I hope its ceramic coated.

Do you have fittings & lines for the turbo oil feed and return? Hose couplers, piping, clamps, etc..?
