For that price plus custom work its not worth it you can turbo the Taco and get more HP ..

I know they make a kit to drop in a 350 into the Hi-lux(Truck before the Tacoma) So I am sure you can easily fit one in there with no problem. A few things you are probably going to need to do though are get a different tranny(Chevy Turbo 400 would be best) and custom mount it. Get a rear end that can hol that much power(Toyota 8" rear ends can hold a lot but with the power that motor is putting out and if you do anything else to the motor you might want to think about a Ford 9". You will also need at least a 2 or 3 row radiator and custom mount it along with a few other things custom mounted. It would be a pretty bad ass truck if you could do that but personally if you have a V6 you will be better off building the internals on it up and putting the TRD supercharger or turboing it. With that you will save money and you will have a more reliable truck.

he scared me with that lol i was wanting to just drop the engine in and be done with it not have to do anything else ( differ tranny and the rear ends

yoo im thinkin though of getting me some Long headers( or shorties) um with Dual exhaust prolly Flowmaster (H pipes) with a trd turbo then prolly get another custom turbo
