I have a silvertop with 2.5" exhaust from front to back. It seems to work well.....although I don't have anything to compare it to!

2.25" is a stock size on the Silvertop... All of the flanges on mine are that size, coz they mated perfectly with the 2.25" cat-back piping i had before the silvertop.
