Solara VS TC Handling

The wheelbase on the TC is only 1 inch shorter than the Solara - just curious how the TC handles because the Solara would probably handle very similar even though the actual body lenth is quite a bit more.

Sorry mabee I should also point out, that I realize that you would have to change the suspension substancially but the wheelbase is a huge indicator of handling possibilities.

Weight and rigidy are the major factors comparing those two. Initial tests say the tc has a very well built reinforced and rigid chassi... not to mention it weighs several hundred pounds less than the Solara. I'd say the tC handles better.

The Tc is only 29xx lbs whereas the Solara is at least 33xx lbs?

I've driven the tC and I was not impressed with the handling at all. I would not be surprised if the Solaras handling is comporable(sp?).
