So now that I've been to the London Showoff I'm really confused in wether I should get what Eric has in his car (4AGZE) or should I go through what Sam went through and get a 626 Turbo charger and intercooler and customize them on my 4AFE! If I do what Sam did, I obviously have to find someone who knows what they're doing! And franky I don't trust any of the shops I know in TO so I'm having inner struggles now !!!

Xenon, great to meet you, and I can't say how much love i give you for restoring your baby back to original!!! Man that thing is sick!
Well now that you have seen both sides of the spectrium for performance, you have to make a decision. I love my set-up, and Eric loves his. Mine cost alot less, but his is way more hardcore than mine will ever be.
But the biggst thing is what you have already asked about, do you trust someone to do it? For me I was lucky, In Ottawa, we have a tonne of great shops and good tech guys, I know that best one here, and lucked out.
I was glad to meet you too Sam, loved your car inside out
I have alot of questions about your setup, but maybe I should leave them till I'm ready to do either a conversion or a customization, then I'll start asking away..
You'll laugh your a** off if you know why I prefer your setup over Eric's.. I'm sorry but I want that blow off valve sound from my engine, I've always dreamed of shifting and hearing it...
Hopefully I'll get around to doing it soon and we'll see what happens then.
Thanks for the support and the props on my car, it means alot coming from a guy like you..

Yeah, it beats making sound effects with your mouth everytime you shift. I do it all the time in the 240sx now. In the Corolla i would imagine a low whining noise.

You can check my car alittle more on Ryans page. http://www.corolla-racing.com
Under the 6th page in the Car Gallery, look under my name and you can see the list of parts I have. Start asking questions anytime!

Thank you Sam, I really appreciate the help and support, it's about time I think about making my car go...
About time??? Well, if anyone had seen your ride when you just got her, then they would know what you have been up too. It's sad because it's the kinda thing that only you know about. For me, I slap on a turbo and bam! Instant attention, where as you have put alot more time, money, and effort into your ride. But it does look sweet though
Thanks Sam, I know what you mean though. But when I started restoring my car to what it's like right now, I had me in mind not anyone else. So the fact that other people consider it a nice looking ride is a bonus for me
