okay. so want to hear the difference between my muffler with and withour its silencer. i removed the lock nut that i was told to remove in order to remove the silencer. now that i have removed the lock nut, what part is exactly the silencer? the part that i remove.......

and i realize that it will be loud and may be a city violation but i don't plan on keeping it off. i just want to hear the difference is all.

okay, so now i know what part is the silencer...but how do i take it out? should it just slide out once i've removed the lock nut or what? cause if thats how it's suppose to work. it's not working.

yeah its suppose to slide out...try to lube it up with some wd40 but for mine it had to get some channel locks and wiggle and pull that bitch out, took a while..
