Question 3sgte 2L to 2.2L

i wanted to upgrade my 2L to 2.2L. read some thread re: the use of 5SFE block and so with the Crankshaft. is it possible?

You could swap the 3SGTE head onto a 5SFE bottom end to make a 5SGTE. Or you could get a stroked crank. Search for '5SGTE' and you'll find your answers.

if you checked the link i posted... there are a few for 100 bucks US. i'd suggest calling some of the places and seeing how much the shipping would be to the phillippines. are there any junkyards closer to you???

5sgte builds ned a 92-94 5sfe block. or else you have to port the water holes.

its preferred to buy a setup and apparently TODA also make a stroker kit for the 3sgte.

the 5s big ends are 4mm larger than the 3s. Meaning either the 5s crank needs to machined down or the 3s rods require machining. I know I would machine the crank before I would machine rods. Shorter pistons are also required due to the longer stroke.

Although the 5s crank is actually forged like the 3s which is either same if not stronger than the 3s.

why spend $5000 bucks on a 5s-fe crank thats what TODA and JUN are selling nothing machined 5s-fe cranks...
