Question 3rd gen 3sge

I was wondering if a 3rd gen 3sge from a celica would drop right in to my 1991 mr2 na, using my axles, the celicas trans, the celicas ecu, celicas uncut harness, and the celicas fusebox. The purchase also comes with some other things like the power steering pump, coil and ignitor. Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanx

It shoudl work since the JDM/Euro NA version of the MR2 was equipped with a 2nd Gen 3S-GE, as for the transmission, why change it? your will work OK.

Could be, I'm not sure but FWIW the 5th Gen Celica here came with the 2nd Gen 3S-GE and we got the S52 as apposed to the S53 in the NADM Celica and both gearboxes have different ratios, the S52 are a lot longer than the S53 in order to take full advantage of the higher HP and Torque so I'm guessing that there would also be a difference between the both boxes.
But really, I'm no expert on MR2 just Celicas but since they share the same engine I'm guessing that the box should also change just like in the Celica.
