Okay, i have a near 44,000mile 5S-FE engine.

i'm a person who have never driven a stick, lives in a very hilly area, and yet wants to try/have a stick.

I also like to be able to add things as i go on(ex, exhaust once i get $500, then Turbo once i get $1500...kinda rewards for saving)

anyway...
as most of you are probably getting sick of...here's what i'm thinking...if it works

3S-GE(the 200hp JP Celica engine): Does it hook up to 5S-FE tranny? if not, can i use a 6speed tranny like Sentra SE-R? or anything FWD 6-spd

5S-FE(stock engine): I can put money into this, but i have a feeling the MAX i'd ever get out of it is around 300hp, and that's with everything...costing more than swap?

3S-GTE(dream): The Cost is suppose to be high on this, of course...If i imported a GT-4 for front clip...does it work with stock tranny, or once again can i use a 6-spd FWD tranny. is it illegal?

Silvia S-15+ engine(dream?): Does this fit well, is it's stock tranny a FWD to where i can buy a package? will it hook up to stock tranny? is it way too $$$??

I'm thinking the 3S-GE would be the best choice if it fits easily, because the aftermarket would be nice(right?) and it would already put me at 200hp(not the 210 altezza 3S-GE)

ok first of all u gotta figure out ur budget before deciding on which route to go on... there's a guy in IMOC forums who's got a 400+hp 5sfe so i think its a good one to do up also justin is using a 3sgte swap on a camry and is workin on a 3sgte head mated to a 5sfe block making it a hybrid so it also is a good way to go just a thought...

if u were buying the 3SGE, y would u keep the stock transmission??
y wouldn't u use a 3SGE transmission?

y would a nissan transmission fit a toyota?

Simply to save money...the current tranny only has 45K miles which isn't that bad, and it should work on the 3S-GE, right? there $500-1000 USD saved...

and the Nissan tranny would fit if i got the Nissan engine....
