MR2, Celica, Caldina, Altezza.....and some others I'm sure.
The WRC Corolla and Japanese Formula 3 also used the 3S versions aswell.

BEAMS motors 3s-ge was derived from partners ship with TOM's Japan and TRD ... This is what they cam out with ... Its a detuned Japanese F1 car motor..
BEAMS technology was something like a point in between the regular engines and VVTL-i. The engine this technology was initially used on was the 3rd Generation of the 3S-GE although the VVI BEAMS was not COMPLETLELY implemented until the 4th Generation 3S-GE.
Most of the JDM/Euro cars that used the 3S-GE (6th Gen Celicas, the Altezza, Caldina and MR2) came with the BEAMS engine.
You can find the BEAMS engine in Japan from resellers although they are NOT EASY TO FIND and thus NOT CHEAP.

Sorry, but you are wrong. A BEAMS 4 cylinder was never used in Formula 1.
