Can anyone help me with what I should do for an engine management system for a 3S-GTE swap into a 1990 celica GT-S? I bought a 3S-GTE engine but unfortunately an ECU did not come with it. I know there are guys out there who set up an aftermarket engine management system for the same swap but I am not sure what to do about it.

I think there is a ECU for sale in the for sale section. But if you go stadalone you will be much better off since it will be able to take any crazy upgrades you plan for it later .

I have found alot of parts from junkyards. I never bought an ECU however, but I think they run from $50-$100. If you want to forego the stock ECU and get an aftermarket one, APEXi makes one as well as many others. Aftermarkets are expensive so if you can find a stock one somewhere you can get your car running sooner and cheaper.
Do you have the main wiring harness?
