20 valve ECU question? BT and ST

My engine is a 20V silvertop 4age (AFM type) on an AE92 sedan

I just got hold of a blacktop ECU, do you guys think its worth it if I upgrade my ECU to this? with this I can take out the AFM and open up the ITBs.

some say that the AFM gives air restriction to the throttle and taking out this out would be a good mod.

Actually... yes... with the Blacktop ECU, you can run open ITBs. The drawback... you gotta do a bit of re-wiring and you gotta wire in a MAP set-up and IAT. The other problem, you'll have to piggyback the Blacktop ECU and do some fuel tuning. It's been said, the blacktop ECU runs a bit too rich for the silvertop.
