98 RAV4 Engine replaced...

put in a rebuilt engine on 1998 RAV4, on start we get spark, starts up, but then 2 cyls drop out... checked timings, timing belt, coil seems ok, crank sensor replaced,,, no codes on computer.... Any ideas??? Help.....

No fuel to cylinders or no spark.

When you kill the engine, pull the plugs on the 2 cylinders that die and see if they smell of fuel.

Bad plugs?
