USA Has anyone successfully turbo a 3SFE

Has anyone successfully turbo a 3SFE. Thier is a memeber of our forum [RAV4world.com] that turbo charged a RAV4 and had a ton of problem. I've asked him and I'm waiting for an answer. But, here, has any one done this turbo setup in a 3SFE engine?

as long as its not VVTi, turbo manifold and single entry CT26 from a 3SGTE will bolt on with few problems.

Its never EVER been done before. Nobody had ever driving thousands of trouble free miles on a turbocharged 3s-fe with 315k miles on it. Never ever.

he's got the 3SFE, but his blew up because of too much boost and a lean cylinder. i wanna run like 5lbs or so...keep it calm and reliable.

Cool

I think about everyone that's turboed a 3s or 5s has blown up.

I don't remember any of either off-hand that are running.

Yeah, but he blew his...

88LE no longer has the turbo kit on his Camry. Its been on my car for almost two years now. I've owned the car for about a year and a half, and I have successfully driven the car 7k miles with not motor problems (just checked the plugs this weekend - perfect so far!). Then again, my motor was rebuilt before the turbo was put on the car with chromoly rings and a metal headgasket.

I didn't know da_horse has his turbo installed??

I'm to busy getting the car running to do a write-up at this point. No dynos yet - it wouldn't be very impressive! LOL... Once the car's repainted, the suspension is finished, the intercooler is installed, the new engine management is running... blah blah blah... there are a ton of things to do, and I still have my WRX to work on too. Come to LA - I'll show you the car.
