T-25 on a 5sfe?

I have come across a Garret T-25 turbo. Has minor in-play. The thought of putting this on my 5sfe has crossed my mind. But, this idea is basically a starter idea. If it would work, it would eventually be upgraded. I have read that the T-25 has been used for the 4a and 7a motors, would it be beneficial to a 5s?

Plan: start as a 5sfte, ( At a low boost of 4-6 lbs no higher )
aquire more parts,
build into a 5sgte!!!

These are big plans. But, I want to do it in steps.

So, would the T-25 be a good starting turbo? Should I keep on for the CT-26 or larger? I know if I wait for much a larger turbo I need to upgrade all at once to have it functioning healthy.

well here is the thing....you have to build a custom manifold.....as for the ct26 you have a manifold right there that mounts right up to the camry and saves you about 300bux... as for t25...Its is a much smaller turbo then the ct26....the ct26 flow more CFM's then the t25 also...And it spools up about the same rmp (2900) so more CFM's and a same spool.....But it up to you... i am going ct26

Actually the T25 will spool up alot quicker than a CT26 on a 5S_FE but will top out at about 4800rpm then your just trying to squeeze all that exhaust into a smaller housing... Totally mis-matched for 5s-fe from my personal opinion

Thanks for the info. I personally am not very knowlegible of turbo size and capacities. It was just a shot in the dark. So, I'll just do what I was originally going to do, Clean up and sell on Ebay.
