I smell BS. Just like that so called timing advance kit which is nothing more then a resistor.

If that so called thing actually works, then why do ppl spend $1000+ on standalone computers and wideband 02 sensors?

Yeah, and hmm perfect mixture... would that mean that it would be in Stoich on WOT, so you can see and hear your engine kill itself. I mean hey, wouldnt of automotive manufacteurers put those in their car if they spent millions of dollars in researching how to get a good economical and functional car.
I believe this thing is total crap and I WOULD NOT install something like that in my car.

actually there IS such a thing as a "perfect ratio", it IS I think what was stated on that bid thing....it's precicely the amount needed under optimimum conditions to completely burn gasoline completely, just H2O, CO2 and something else I can't remember as by products....no CO...
BUT, you can't always run at 14.7:1 air/gas ratio because of various reasons, not the least of which there's no such thing as the optimum conditions. your engine controller will always vary it according to engine speed/temperature/etc.
so that thing COULD force the engine to always get 14.7:1 air/gas ratio, but if that the engine runs at all after it's installed, I'd be shocked.

I wouldn't i put the timing up on my old carbureted corolla and what did i hear?? pinging in the cylinders, forget the little "boost" it made i put it back before i messed the motor. basically what your doing is getting a sensor to misread to the computer so the computer changes the timing but if the sensors miss reading its probably causing other problems. In my opinion forget it its not worth the motor!
