Vibration after T-belt change

Hi folks. This post is about my other car, a 95 Galant, but since this forum has always been very helpful and I am desparate...
I had a waterpump/T belt and all the drive belts changed the other day at the local mech and since then the engine is noisy. It runs OK at idle but when I put in gear and rev it everything rattles. Also if I rev it to 3000 rpms in Neutral it sounds like a jet and everything vibrates to the same frequency. The mech. has checked his work and hasn't found the problem, tells me to get a 2nd opinion. Went to the dealership and they say I need a new tranny mount, but if that doesn't fix it then they will open the T-belt (and charge me for 4hr of labor)
So is there anyway to differentiate the vibration from a balances shaft that is 180' off vs the mounts or I just have to spend money on this until it is fixed?
