Bought a bottle of valvoline synthetic fuel injector cleaner...

felt a bit smoother overall. Price is decent considering it needs another bottle every 5000 km.

Deep,

What you are refering to is used at dealerships very often. however, the injector cleaner is not fed through a vacumm line, but right into the fuel rail.

On a system with a fuel return line, it must be blocked off to prevent the excess cleaner from hitting the tank. You then remove the fuel line and connect your cleaner bottle. The bottle is pressurize with a standard shop air hose. The car runs off the injector cleaner until the bottle is empty.
