How to set up a speedometer? (This is a GOOD question heheh)

I need some suggestions here.

As some of you may know, I'm finishing up a 2ZZGE swap into a '98 Corolla. I've run into a minor snag.

On the '98, the speedometer is driven by an input from the VSS. On the '03 Matrix, there is no VSS (on the manual version), rather the speed input comes through the ABS computer from the four wheel sensors.

The '98 doesn't have ABS so there are no wheel sensors, and there's no VSS on the tranny... so... besides going by the RPMs, is there a way to set up a speedometer?

I have all the wiring diagrams if you want a look.

And, is there some kind of "generic" speedometer that you can set up with a wheel sensor or something?
