Can I get a performance air intake for my pickup with the 2.4 litre engine that replaces the entire factory air cleaner box?? What about the mass air flow sensor...what happens if that is removed??

The mass airflow sensor meters the amout of air that goes into your intake manifold. If its not there, the ecu can't make a good air/fuel calculation and your motor will run like sh*t.

its unfortunate we drive toyota's sometimes! unlike Honda guys we can't just go buy all the go-fast goodies. My motto if u can't buy one make one! measure your throttle body....then go to home depot and buy some pvc or abs pipe thats just a bit bigger and a whole bunch of fittings and make one! top it off with a filter and connect it to the motor with some sort of rubber coupler. cost less too. don't forget the MAP sensor look how its mounted in the OEM unit and get it mounted as close as you can to the original
