Question for the toyota gurus

Hey everybody
I was wondering what the differences are between the 4-afe engine and the 7a-fe engine.(Other than the displacement). I'm asking this because i have a 93 Corolla. I paid for the 1.8 liter "package" which included the 1.8 liter engine. But the other day i looked under the hood and the label on the distributor said "4a-fe"??!!!
So to make a long story short...could the label on the distributor be wrong or was i totally jipped out of my money? Any help is appreciated

toyota parts are somewhat interchangable especially with the 4a - 7a on these two engines the block is identical along with many of the components so yes that sticker could be wrong another place to look will be on the timing belt cover facing the shock tower some engines may have a sticker there some may even have a sticker right on the front of the valve cover facing the rad the best way to be sure is to get the model/serial off the motor and check with that because it is the only way to be sure the engines are almost identical on the outside
