22re hybrid questions
well i been thinking of hybriding my 87 4runner with the 20r head for some more power.
from what i know i need the 20r head and the intake will have the be ported to match the head, and i think i might of read somewhere about a few oil passages will have to be re drilled or something. also have to change the engine to the dual row timing chain
what i need to know is:
1. will this work with the fuel injection (since the 20r wasnt efi)
2. what actualy needs to be port matched
3. can i already buy the head ported
4. think i might get the the lc kit that come with a new cam and header, which grinds would be good for NA build
5. would i still pass canada drive clean standards?
6. what years do the block and the head have to be i rember that certen years do match
7. any thing else i'm missing?
