lowering my '92 4x2 truck with torsion bar...

well, i havent done it yet, but i am curious as to the logistics of lowering the front end of my '92 toyota truck with the torsion bars. i dont know the pros and cons of this lowering and i dont know how low i could go. i dont want to slam it, but just eliminate the wheel well gap and give it a sportier stance....maybe 3 inches or so. i havent heard a lot about hte pros and cons of such a lowering technique, but i am intersted in any input anyone could offer. thanks from a fellow toyota owner.
