More power?

I drive a 95 tacoma, 2.7L. I know this truck is not meant to be fast, but I would like to get a few more ponies out of it. Anybody know any easy ways to do this?

there is no easy or cheap way to gain more than 7 or so horsepower, a few good things to do are:

remake your stock intake up to the tb (throttle body)
get a cat back exhaust WITH a resonator (cars sound crappy without one in my opinion)
take your engine apart and get the head ported and polished (this is a bit expensive but will really open the engine up)

those are the first things you may consider, there are a lot of things you can do but for a real increase in power there is no cheap way.

actually i ave no resonator in my car and i've been told it sounds great it all matters on how the exhaust is done

2wicked it looks like you have dual exhaust, if you have two mufflers its not oging to sound the same as a single muffler with no resonator
