Low Idle when cold and when AC is on

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum. I just bought a used 95 Celica GT 'vert (90k miles, all stock) I have a technical questions regarding idle and idle speed, then rear window adjustment (I want to reduce the wind noise a little). I'm overall impressed with my first Toyota, but it needs a few little issues fixed before it is a great car.

Problem #1: low idle when cold, low idle when AC compressor cycles on. When the AC compressor cycles on, the idle goes down a couple hundred rpm and the engine runs rough
I suspected the fast idle actuator. I pulled the vacuum hose that connects to it, which caused the stop to move and idle to raise. I reconeected the hose, the stop retracted, idle dropped back.

What should I look at and check for at this point?

Problem #2: the rear quarter windows don't seal very well against the side (door) glass, near the sill (top of the door). There is about 3-4mm gap, but the glass is tight at the top.

Is there some adjustment at the regulator for angle, or do I need new window rubber? It whistles pretty bad over 65-70mph, going slower isn't what I had in mind, but I want to keep my hearing LOL

thanks in advance

For problem #1, check the a/c idle up vsv itself.

thanks for the reply,
uh... what is a "vsv" , maybe "vacuum servo valve?"
If so, where would I find it or what does it look like?
sorry for the bonehead question, but I'm not sure of the terminology

vsv = vacuum switching valve

Link above has info for a Camry, but the valve looks the same on your Celica.
