muffler pipe leak!

my truck's muffler pipe is leaking air. right before the muffler. is that going to be a problem. am i losing power and is it affecting my gas milege? because i bought it like that i don't know the difference.

I fixed three air holes in my muffler and boy did it make a difference. It is robbing your horsepower and I believe gas mileaage too. Just pick up a tube of Muffler Mender by Victor and fix it. It can be picked up from probably any parts store for $2.66. Cheap and very effective.

if its right b4 the muffler its probably ok.. if its around teh manifold or cat or the front section, then that owuld be bad ^^
