true but thay are the only ones on the import list. so thay are the only nohassle cars you can bring in from Japan

I'd bring that Previa over. Supposedly you can build a kick-ass van with Previas.

what are the import regulations like in the states. Over here in australia they have tightened up the rules to make it practically impossible to import a car privately (unless its over 15 years old , then it bypasses many of the rules). Also they are attempting to stop dealers from importing cars that have been modified , all of the mods have to be removed before the car is put on the ship.

Here is the other way around, the car has to be 5 years old TOPS...!!! The only way of importing an older car is by claiming it as bagage i.e. You've lived over 4 years in the country from where you are importing the car from and you are returning home, you have to prove ownership of the car for the last 4 years that you resided in that country and had the car.

^ not anymore. it is harder than that. i know alot of people that did tryed that and thay couldn't bring the car back and have it on the road. the rules for racing and show cars are way different. and the whole leagle way is a long costly thing. i can do a quick right up later
