Last night I cleaned my engine bay and forgot to reconnect my O2 sensor wire before I made the trip home. The engine light came on, I connected the sensor wire and then disconnected the negative terminal of the battery to reset the code. I replaced the terminal and now the car will not start.

There is power to the lights, horn, alarm, airbag light, and door light. The rest of the dummy lights do not work. The clock doesn't work. The starter doesen't even click when the energized. Please help this is frustrating as hell. I have 2 weekends (including this one) left before I go to Japan and I don't want to be stuck at the crib.

does the engine turn at all or nothing. you might want to check your plugs to see if you fouled them or flooded the engine too.

engine won't turn cuz there isn't power to the start circuit

Loose EF1 connector on the passenger side firewall. Must have knocked it loose while cleaning the engine!

I'm changing the VSS on my son's 97 Camry tomorrow as the old one (and connector) corroded. The design allows water to get and stay in the connection when you clean the engine. Bad design!!

Disconect and dry it out.
