WTF is a 3SGELC?
I know what a 3SGE and the GTE are, but what is an LC?

According to toyotacelicaonline, the LC designation would mean Laterally mounted California Emissions, if it was LU (4AGE/GZE-LU) the U would mean Japanese Pollution Control. In some Older motors (4ALC) the C would mean Carburated.

Thats not how it goes. On some older engines B would mean twin carbed, but theres no designation for carb alone.

LOL Welcome to a world that has been going for a while lol, best bet for misc. parts-pick-a-part, get you r heads from thier and get them done, and an rare axle will come in handy, i literally keep a breaker bar and all the tools needed in my trunk to change my axle that i keep snaping=) later

According to the designation i have read the 'L' is set up for a left handed throttle. so a 4AGEL would have a left handed throttle.

he's aksking if 3SGTE parts will work on his 3SGE... turbo to non turbo part... get it?
my bet is no.. internals are different, only the block is similar.

a ge and a gelc are the same, i took a gelc out of a celica and its the same as my other 3sge motors
