just got a couple of questions to ask you guys

1: i own a 92 celica GTR with the 2ltr engine can i change the head over to the 1.6 4AGE to get better pick up on the lower down rev range ( i heard this could be done with datsuns ) ??

2: can the 4AGZE engine from a 86 mr2 be fitted without any major problems into a 86 FXGT corrolla seeing as they are both east west mounted engines ???

big no on the head swap. toyotas arent honda's/datsuns

the 4AGZE swap to the FX wouldnt be too bad. same series engine, should just bolt straight up as long as you use the FX's tranny. just a matter of pulling the engine out and hooking up all the wiring/computer again. you'll need the harness and the computer from the mr2, hopefully the wires will be long enough, i think they will.

what engine is a 2.0 from 92??? 3sge? if so, then you can do an engine swap to 3sgte or just turbo the 3sge, but you would have a high compression turbo in that case.

i thought all 5th and 6th gen celicas were either 5sfe (GTS or GT trim) or 7afe (ST trim) ...

if its a 1.8L 7A-fe then you can do a 4age or 4agze head swap.

1. Forget about putting a 4AGE head on a 3SGE block.
Whack in a 3SGTE if you want more power.

2. Use the AE1XX MAP GZE, less stuffing around as it is an FF engine not an MR engine.
